Information we collect

• Account data: name and email address through Firebase Authentication.
• Task data: titles, due dates, priorities, status, and assignees.
• Proof photos: images uploaded as completion evidence through Firebase Storage.
• Device and push tokens: Expo, APNs, or FCM tokens used to deliver notifications.
• Usage and diagnostics: limited logs and metrics used to maintain reliability and security.

How we use information

• Authenticate users and secure access.
• Create and manage tasks, approvals, and parental-lock settings.
• Schedule and deliver reminders and overdue notifications.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and improve the service.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers, including Firebase, Google Cloud, and Expo, to operate PhotoProof. They process data on our behalf under their applicable agreements and security controls.

Data retention

We retain account and task data while an account remains active. Users may delete tasks and photos in the app where that feature is available. Following account deletion, associated content is removed from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to backup and legal-retention requirements.

Security

We use HTTPS, authenticated access, permission-based controls, and scoped Firebase Security Rules intended to restrict data to authorized users and family groups.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. Contact privacy@photoproof.app to make a request.

Children and parental controls

PhotoProof is designed to be configured and controlled by an adult account holder. Guardians are responsible for creating child profiles, choosing tasks, reviewing submitted photos, and controlling parental-lock settings.

International processing

Data may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.
