Information We Collect
- Account Data – Name, email (via Firebase Authentication).
- Task Data – Titles, due dates, priorities, status, assignees.
- Proof Photos – Images you upload as completion evidence (Firebase Storage).
- Device & Push Tokens – Expo/APNs/FCM tokens to send notifications.
- Usage/Diagnostics – Basic logs/metrics to keep services reliable.
How We Use Information
- Authenticate users, maintain sessions, and secure access.
- Create/manage tasks, approvals, and parental lock enforcement.
- Schedule and deliver reminders and overdue notifications.
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve features.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract – to provide the app you requested.
- Legitimate interests – security, fraud prevention, service improvement.
- Consent – push notifications and optional analytics where required.
Sharing & Processors
We do not sell personal data. We use processors to operate the app, including Firebase/Google Cloud and Expo Services. These providers process data on our behalf under contracts and security measures.
Data Retention
We retain account and task data while your account is active. You may delete tasks/photos in-app. Upon account deletion, associated content is removed within a reasonable time from active systems and backups.
Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, principle of least privilege.
- Scoped Firebase Security Rules restrict data by authenticated user/team.
Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise rights, contact privacy@photoproof.app.
Children & Parental Lock
Parental lock allows a guardian to restrict app access on a device until proof is submitted and approved. Guardians should review tasks and photos before approval. PhotoProof is controlled by the adult account holder setting up the child profile.
International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other regions where our processors operate with appropriate safeguards.
Data Deletion & Contact
- Use in‑app delete account (if available) to remove your data, or
- Email privacy@photoproof.app from your account email requesting deletion/export.
